Cavity Backed Spiral Model # CBS-01

The Cavity Backed Spiral Antenna is a lightweight medium-gain array designed to transmit or receive a circular polarized wave, (includes both vertical and horizontal). Widely used in systems whose primary functions are surveillance, direction finding, and telemetry. It typically covers a 10 to 1 frequency range. Antenna is mounted in a square aluminum structure and made on FR4 .063 inch fiberglass. It is terminated and loaded with RF absorbing foam. It has –5 dBi to +3 dBi gain and greater than a 10 dB F/B ratio. The RF output has a BNC fitting.
