The MCA-1 is an antenna multi-coupler designed for use in the HF/VHF/UHF frequency range. It is intended to allow multiple receivers to monitor from a common antenna. The multi-coupler provides port to port isolation to reduce the possibility of RF interference between receivers. It has a built-in pre amplifier to offset the losses in the hybrid splitter and coax cable. This unit will support up to four devices such as radios, spectrum analyzers and scanners. The four outputs have a gain of +10 dB and a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. The input circuitry has built-in overpower and static protection to prevent the unit being burned up from nearby transmitters or static buildup.

Constructed in an Aluminum enclosure with BNC fittings and has a mounting flange. Other fittings (SMA-Type N) are available on special order if required.

Intended for operation from automobile 12 V systems or a 110 VAC wall adapter.
